What’s all the hype about Sprouted Flours?


You may have recently heard a lot about sprouted flours and how they can help you achieve a healthy, balanced life.  Today, we are going to explain exactly what sprouted flour is, the health benefits and how you can incorporate it into your pantry.

Sprouted Wheat Grains

Sprouted flour is produced from whole grains that have been sprouted back into a live plant, dried out and then milled.  This process allows the flour to be digested as a vegetable thus making it easier to digest and it maintains all of its fiber.  Sprouted flours can be substituted for other traditional flours (one for one) and you will notice a better taste due to it not being bleached, refined or over processed.
